my gardenia leaves are turning yellow in the pot, plenty of buds since last one month, but they are not coming to bloom, what could be the reason ? the plant is in a pot.
A gardenia needs acid conditions. Yellow leaves can come from it being in the wrong compost, or watering it with tap water. It`s best to use rain water for this plant, and ericaseous compost.
You could give it a tonic of sequested iron.
I don`t know if you know this, but there is a tonic called sequestrine.
