Hi all, last year I bought a rasberry plant from 99p shop and planted it in a big container. It produced quite some fruits end of August-September. At the begenning of the year I took off some of the suckers and planted them in another container and now they and growing quite fast. I cut all the canes about 4'high and planted it in a bigger container,it is now very bushy,it covers the container and start flowering.
Can some of you tell me,
(1) if I should cut some of the canes of the bushy container to let the plant have some air to circulate.
(2) will the new suckers about 12" high will produce any fruits this year.
Will appreciate your advice and tips, thanks.
I found this useful guide to growing raspberries. On the main Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú gardening site there's an article too.
