I planted out peas and runner beans (after starting seeds in my greenhouse) but they just seem to be slowly fading away and dying...any ideas what could be happening or what i have done wrong!
Did you acclimatise them to life outside the greenhouse? The weather has been slightly silly to say the least, with 20+ degrees differences in temperatures from one day to the next, that could make anything struggle. Were they adult enough to plant out? They do need to have a bit of decent growth above the seed leaves before they can manage to survive a transplant to a new place.
Sometimes the lowest leaves of legumes do seem to die off after transplanting, but the rest of the plant should be OK.
Have you got something eating the roots - maybe gently pull one up and havea look to see if roots OK. Are they too dry/wet?
