I have a blueberry bush in a terracotta pot in ericaceous compost that seemed to be doing well this year and had lots of flowers. But, I noticed yesterday that all the flowers have died and so too have the miniature fruits behind them. The flowers are like crumpled dried paper – a bit like potpourri. The leaves still look healthy.
I have another blueberry plant next to it and the fruits are forming well.
Does anyone know what has caused this?
Could be irregular watering.
I have exactly the same problem. One plant, the oldest lost all flowers and fruit. The other smaller and younger in smaller pot loaded with fruit.
I water virtually every time I go past the pot.
I also use rainwater which is advised.
