Hello. I have an empty space at the moment in part of my allotment. In this area i am currently growing french beans, peas, broad beans and courgettes. I was also going to put some sweetcorn in there but havent had a chance to pot any and its a bit late now. Anyway the empty section is sprouting weeds quicker than i can weed them! Any ideas what i can plant here? I've got a seperate space for brassicas and salad crops.
Thanks for your help smiley - smiley

If you live south of the Severn / Wash , I would still give sweetcorn a go. Sow direct in twos , cover with fleece , removing it as soon as they show .Thin the weakest seedling from each pair.
A variety such as Swift would be useful , I live in Scotland and find it reliable in an area which is marginal for most others. Gaffelbiter.
