Is so with what?
Hello,
I grow about 500 onions, and have not fertilised directly, but normally the autumn before planting out. Onions like lots of potash, and phosphate. So nitrogen based fertiliser probably would not have much benefit for them. As with most vegetables plenty of compost; with onions as their roots are quite shallow it will not need much digging in if at all. Just let the worms do it for you.
Hope this helps
Dominic
Thank you.
