A ? bonus among the beans!

  Well you see, it was like this, I had several bean plants in sowing pots which had lost their labels, so I did not know whether they were climbing or dwarf beans. So I put them in a big pot anyway, with a wigwam of fairly small poles which I could replace with larger ones if needed when all was revealed.
  
  Today all was revealed, and I have a lovely plant of bright purple morning glory flowers among the beans, or maybe they are morning glory also!
  
  Oh well, it cheers up the otherwise overall green of the veggie area!

  My dear old Nan was a one, she would never label a thing... hence why one year she had two hanging baskets of Foxgloves! Certainly unique. And she never bothered to learn the names of plants - when she died and we were clearing out the house we came across dozens of envelopes of seeds with names like 'Pretty Pink Ones' or 'From the Welsh Lady at number 15'. My Mum and I had a terrific couple of years growing all these seeds with great anticipation of what they would grow into!

  Wonderful story, and makes very interesting gardening. I did start off labelling them but the labels got lost, or I used 1 label for 6 plants and then moved the pots -- the morning glory is doing very well among the beans, better than those on the intended obeslisk!!
