Hi all just like to say I am new to this and are starting to grow our own veg never done it before and really enjoying seen veg starting to take shape wow have we got a selection we started by rescuing a greenhouse and glazing it then we thought about veggies so we prepared the soil beautiful soil I must say added nothing just diiging and raking over then we set out what we thought was big enough for us and planted the following potatoes, cabbage, cauli, sweetcorn, suede, broccoli, carrots, peas, onions from seed, one marrow just to see the space they need, and a cucmber in a pot which we have planted out now I have never grow anything before and we are so pleased it is coming on no doubt we will come across a few problems at times but hey give it a go I say any advice would be nice
I want a rescued greenhouse lucky you. i'm still looking.
Its my first year of growing veg too, its very addictive.
you sound like you are going to get a good crop and a good variety, they are very helpful here, if you got any questions, they ususally get answered.
trail and error is my approach to gardening, no luck with my potatoes in the sack, but salad stuff is doing wonderful.
enjoy the season
Yes good luck! Lots of what you are growing will take a bit of time in the soil so just be patient ant enjoy the results! If you want some instant gratification why not try some salad crops?
