I'm using tomato food to feed the chillis, peppers, courgettes & obviously tomatoes.
I'm not feeding the carrots this year after reading on here that could be why they didn't swell in their pots.
Not sure if I should be using it on the cucumbers or whether to just stick with water?
hi lokelani, i have and still do feed my cucucumbers with tomatoe feed it works i have so many at the moment i think i will go for one plant next year.
Okay, sounds good to me!
I've had two wonderful sized cucs so far, 2 more small ones growing on & lots of miniature ones just starting too, so hopefully a feed will help them keep producing.
A few of the tiny ones have started to yellow while the flower is still attached, so perhaps a bit of TLC is called for.
Tomato feed is formulated for fruit production, so it'll benefit any plant where the desired result is the fruit - as opposed to roots, tubers, foliage or whatever else.
Ah that's a perfect rule of thumb to go by, thank you!
