My potatoes were very disappointing so I'd like to plant a second crop.
Does anyone know where I can get seed potatoes, other than Thompson & Morgan, who seem very expensive.
Of course I could always bargain with someone else on the plot (I'd like to plant different varieties than I'm harvesting), but I'd like to see whar else is around.
Does anyone else know anything?

planting just lifted potatoes will give very poor results as a lot of varieites show high dormancy levels
I grow the old potatoes that go to sprout from my garage with quiet good success ! MickB.
Thanks farmerSteve, I did wonder about dormancy, after all, if you leave the first crop in the ground you don't get a second crop the same year.
I think I'll just bite the bullet and buy some of T&M's best, expensive christmas potatoes.
I'll try to share with someone else, after all, 20 tubers x 4 is a lot of potatoes, and at nearly £20 (with delivery) definitely expensive. I'll console myself by telling myself that if I was to buy them in the shops at that time of year I'd have spent more anyway, and mine will taste better.
Thanks, Lottie
