Back in April I was so proud of my overwintering broad beans...
...since then everything seems to have suffered...trhe courgettes are ritting and falling off, the rhubarb was lame, my 6 artichoke plants have produced 4 artichokes between them, the beetroot is still at the 2 leaf stage about 8 weeks on, the miniature beans are miniscule beans....and so on....
...what is going on? Fertility wise I have a heavy clay soil which I loaded with manure in November/ December, weather wise it was freezing and then it was too hot....who knows?
Is anyone else having the same issues?
Could it be a problem with the manure, possibly being contaminated with aminopyralid?
Do the pictures of the beans look anything like those shown on this page? :-

I'm not sure that's the problem...
The manure came from the local horse stables and I did notice it was flecked with multi coloured flecks...what's that??
