As avid watchers of Gardeners World over the years since Geof Hamilton, my wife and I would like to say how much we enjoyed the format of last nights Gardeners World (Fri 6th Aug 2010). So often it is impossible to replicate real situations over the lifespan of the manufactured telivision garden, such as the rampant Montana, the patches of lawn damaged by pets etc Not only that, it showcases the gardens that thousands of 'non professional' gardeners create or aspire to. We both feel that this approach has real benifit to gardeners countrywide in the same way that the NGS can inspire and inform.

I enjoyed it but I`m biased because I live near Chatburn and Know Daphne porter who was on the show.
i liked seeing what different people do with their gardens. Thank you to GW.
