Having been away for a week, even though a friend picked my veg a couple of times, I have loads of runner beans, french beans and sugarsnap peas which have gone past their best. I have made a vast vat of minestrone soup today, adding bought peppers, celery and onions (because mine aren't ready yet) and thinned out my carrots so used the very small ones in the soup as well. The beans and peas would be tough if cooked in the normal way but are delicious when included in the soup.
'Obtain' a boot on winemaking. I have one called "Drink your own Garden" Cheers, Tony.
The word in the message is BOOK, not BOOT! Cheers again, Tony.
