I still have a packet of unused Dig In carrot seed. I know this is unlikely to be viable next year, so I'm wondering if I can sow them now in pots and move into an unheated polytunnel for protection when the weather turns cold? Is it worth a go, or a wasted effort?
Nowt to lose so sow em n grow em.
iirc carrot seed has a short shelf life.
I had some seed left over so sowed it last friday instead of throwing it and in 5 days it's already up.As I wouldn't keep it I thought there was nothing to loose.
