I have just spent the weekend preparing my garden for the Autumn, and had not realised how neglected my shed is looking. Does anybody have a suggestion on what to get to treat my shed with so I don't have to search up and down the aisles of the DIY stores.

We use 'Ducksback' on fence and shed. It's so waterproof you can see the droplets sitting on the surface when it rains!

I always use bitumen primer. When the white spirit evaporates it leaves a good coat of bitumen on the wood. Also use it on my fences.
Wickes
£12.99 2.5 ltr
I can recommend the 'spuce green'
The 'Herb Garden' is quite good if you want something a bit paler.
Same 'proprietary' brands are £20+ for the same stuff
How about an evening at the pictures ! ! ! (I'll get me coat.) Cheers, Tony.
OH uses Cuprinol. Dark brown because it's near trees at the end of our garden and it blends in so you can hardly see the shed.
Ducksback sounds good though. I'll get him to check that out.
Personally I'm with Kleftiwallah on this though. I've got my coat. Hope no one is munching, rustling or messing with their mobile during the film though.
imho sheds are supposed to look lived in and weathered as long as the roof and windows are sound....what's showing tonight?
I use Creosote Substitute and get it from my local hardware store. It's cheaper than Cuprinol and does exactly the same job as creosote did just as well.
Richard makes a very good point-the roof. Do keep an eye on the roofing felt
