hello
We have successfully grown and frozen our supply of chillies. Before I went away and was very busy I said to my partner to look up drying chillie peppers (he eats them mainly) and came back to see an awful pretty line of chillies tied by cotton to the old aluminium windows. Is this the best way to dry chillies or is there a better way. Also I am worried about any condensation probs.looking to dry alot of herbs that are still in the garden too.
Cheers

I'm not sure this is a better way but it's probably just as effective. I cut my chilli plants off at the stem took off all the leaves and hung them upside down in the GH a couple of weeks ago. They are turning red and drying nicely.

If I pick the chillies when they are still green will they turn red when they are drying? I've been waiting for them to go red on the plant.
Yes. Mine are turning red.
