Hi,
I don't know if other growers have experienced problems with cabbage white butterflies and their nuisance caterpillars. My cauliflowers and Brussels sprouts have been reduced to stalks only.
Any words of wisdom will as always be gratefully received.
Thanks
Use a proper insecticide.
Don't bother with anything labelled "organic" because it won't work and you'll waste your time and money.

You'll be able to make a real difference by picking them off and squashing them. Set aside a period and just work your way through the plants. There will not be any withdrawal time before you eat the produce and no worries about chemicals. And its FREE.

Before planting them, make yourself a net cage. There is no need to spray.

I pop them as well - the blighters even got through/under my netting - it does work and also keep removing the eggs - a daily check required and a good pair of glasses for the really tiny ones!!!!
