Are you moving it wholesale or removing the glass first? If the latter then you are talking about cleaning the aluminium. Am I correct? Cheers, Tony.

If its an aluminium greenhouse completly empty it. The give it a good pressure wash.

Wait until it is dry and then take it down. If it is glass my three favorite tools are a suction glass lifter, a rigid piece of dowel about 10" long and a piece of 30 amp plastic coated wire about 12" long. And some good gloves.
The dowel is for removing 'W' clips, the wire is for removing the 'U' shaped glazing clips. You also need a tub to put all the fittings in.
I also tend to draw the greenhouse and photograph it with a digital camera a lot before I start.
Number the drawing and mark glass with a permenent marker. (only do this if you don't have the original instructions)
Once the frame is up again on its new site get the OH to clean the glass in hot water and Cif, wipe it off and hand it to you smiley - biggrin
Or in other words do it yourself smiley - whistle

If its been up a while I tend to replace all the bolts as they tend to 'rot' over time.

I have taken so many down and moved them that I also have some boxes made out of 1" ply board to take the sheets of 2'X 2' glass

This was a 8'X10' I got a couple of years ago for £30

    Good luck
