I have a chili plant which is still covered with unripe fruits (or half ripe to be more precise). What to do to save the crop. The frost is slowly coming my way in Bristol but my garden seem to be quite well sheltered.

The verity I am growing seems not to go from green to red but rather white/purple to red. Can I just bring the fruits in and hang them to ripe?

They will ripen somewhat if taken inside. Hang in an airy, light and cool place.
BUT you can eat them green, purple white or whatever, they are just
a little less hot, that's all.

You can also freeze them as they are, pop them in a plastic bag in the freezer and take out as required. I snip thim with a pair of scissors into whatever is cooking.
Dig up the plant, pot up and put it in a warm light place if you have one and they will ripen properly on the plant.

    Take your pick!

I might freeze them as I think the plant will die if it comes inside.
