Thought I would let you know I picked my first on July 3rd and have just picked my last, not a bad season I would say. How have you all gone on ?
Demolished mine weeks ago, the are now sitting in jars waiting to make spag' bol' , chilli etc. But I'm impressed, which area of Southern France are you? Cheers, Tony.

Mid France, Limousin and it is real cold at the minute getting down to -15
Minus 15 - easy peasy Julie.
I've worked in -40 before. but then it was in a refrigerator in Bowyers the now defunct sausage people of Trowbridge. When I came out after fixing the fault my glasses steamed up and then froze and my beard was solid !
I wish I was somewhere 'nice' . Cheers, Tony.

By coincidence I have just one tomato left. It's currently sitting in the fridge waiting for that special last tasting moment
I do have 6 jars of dried tomatoes infused in herb/garlic olive oil + pasta sauces and soups, but it's never the same as a freshly picked tomoato. Wont be long now before we all start sowing the seeds for next years crop
