does anyone know what sort of harvest i would get of them and how long i could pick for, i want to know how many plants i need to be in. where sould get this info
It really depends on so many things. Where you garden in the UK, indoors or out, type of soil, compost etc. Most of the cherry type tomatoes produce a good crop over a long season and may produce 5 to 10 lbs of tomatoes a plant, though I have never weighed them.
my favorite tom, here in the s/w scotland pick mid july right through to november, i grow 5 plants but that produces a good surplus .
I always grow GD in pots on my patio. I usually don't start picking until 1st August but they carry on till the end of October. I would have thought that six plants would produce an ample supply for one person.
