The only greenery in my garden this last fortnight has been my sprouts which I was saving for Christmas dinner - everything else was buried under 10cm of snow. Went to pick the sprouts on Saturday and found that although they were untouched, all the tops had been stripped bare. I later noticed a couple of wood pigeons hanging around. Could they have been the culprits? Happy New Year to you all.
Without a doupt pidgeon damage, same on my P.S.B. Hopefully there should be lots of sprouting from below the tops. The nets are now in place. Cheers, Tony.
Wood pigeon goes well with P.S.B....pan fry the breast and steam the greens....very nice.
Whatsthemarrow....
P.s.....?Nets stop them just as good as eatting them...lol
