Is anyone else's rubarb growing. I have three crowns- different varieties. All covered in heaps of snow in December.
The one which was forced last year is starting to grow sooner than the one being forced this year.

Hi Zoomer - saw some yesterday (not my garden) and it was stuff which had been pulled out & had been left unprotected well above ground level. The colour was quite striking, which is probably why I noticed it!

Yes, mine is starting to poke small leaves through the mound of compost I covered the crown with in late autumn. Fingers crossed, this will be my first 'picking' year.
