The onions that have been overwintered in the greenhouse going in.
The white object is a length of drain pipe, inserted into the ground to the correct depth, given a wiggle and a twist on the way out, the onions slide in easily. A quick paradiddle on a convenient stone to remove the soil inside and it's off again.
Job done.
Anti cat trenching wire frames in place.
All snuggled down against the cold - now get growing ! Cheers, Tony.
Nice Tony.
Looks good !

'T would have been easier to have posted a link to slide show option, Tony.
Hi Tony,
Love the Anti cat trenching wire frames - could do with some of these myself - where did you get them from & what size are they?

Love the anti cat frames, Tony. I could do with those over the entire garden! When there's no more soil to dig they do it on the lawn. I've once seen it on top of a hedge!
Good luck with your onions. White rot abundant here and I've tried growing in tubes with no luck. I'll have to do some trials with fungicides to overcome the problem
If I could do a slide show . . .
The wire trays are what was used at Bowyers (the pork pie people) to support the pies while being injected with jelly. If there was a loose wire, yep you've guessed it, it became a H & S. issue and they had to be got rid of. I just asked if I could spirit them away, I just ground off the sides. Glad I have a lateral thinking Gene ! Cheers, Tony.
Ok Tony, pay attention:
after you've uploaded your photos on photobucket, just above them there's a narrow horizontal window where one of the options is "view as slideshow". Click on that and you'll see your photos as a slideshow with a black background. Right at the bottom, underneath where you can see the small photos, you'll see something which says "share this album view". Left click on that window once and it will be copied, then just paste it onto your message here.
Come on Tony, you can do it!
