Does anyone know if there is such a thing as a miniature Bramley Apple Tree that I could grow in a large pot. I live in France where Bramley Apples are unheard of. I have a very sunny courtyard garden that is too small for a standard tree.
Nothing I can get in France comes close to the wonderful Bramley Apple.
What would be the point?
I'll look up a grower whom you may ask about similar taste and date of ripening.
I agree about Bramley though. I am still eating my stored Bramleys from early november picking. I ought to clean them and wrap them in paper of some sort all separate, then they would last until April.
You may possibly grow one on a dwarfing root stock as a 'stepover' form. Cheers, Tony.
I think there is a point of growing a Bramley on a miniature root stock. I have one in my garden and it does great. I dont get lots and lots of apples off it but enough to make a few pies and crumbles every year.
I say go for it !
Check out the link below. It is possible to get bramleys on a small rootstock.

I'll second pjgolf's recommendation of this fruit nursery. Cheers, Tony
Is there anywhere you can grow it at an oblique angle. We have a fruit expert on our site & he has planted all his fruit trees that way.
