What do you call that 'stuff' it's very long, white and narrow and both sides are folded over toward the middle lengthways but leaving a small gap in the middle. I think it is used as a streangthening for a hem or something?
The reason I'm asking is (if I track the 'stuff' down) is to carefully open it out and place a seed in the crease every couple of inches. Seed tapes on the cheap! Cheers, Tony.
Bias binding?
O.K. then, where have you hidden the camera ? ? ? I think you are right. I remember 'me mam' getting it from the haberdashers in Angel Lane - memories. . . Cheers, Tony.
I think its called "wonder web" ....my wife used it to turn the kids uniform up.
Whatsthemarrow...
I used seed tapes for some veg last year and found them really good, certainly helped with spacing and there was a good germination. Let us know how you get on with bias binding,
'wonder web' is something totally different BigDave. There maybe some man made fibres in there too, and something which when heat is applied sticks hems together may contain fibres which aren't particularly organic or biodegradable
zoomer44 I didn't think of that....it is wonder web the wife used as it was only a quick fix one morning to stick the em back together.....thanks for pointing that out.
