Afternoon all,
I would like to grow some raspberry canes in pots on my pation - I fancy having a go at Autumn Bliss which is late fruiting. Is it too late to buy bareroot canes for a crop this year? Never looked into it before, and can't see anything to the contrary online but if I'm too late I'd rather hang on to the prime time to plant out.
Thanks in advance, lovely gardeners!

I think you would need big pots& yes it is the right time. Thompson & Morgan have them & there is free postage until midnight tonight.

Hi Niblet.
now is perfect for planting rasps in pots or otherwise. Autumn fruiting ones are great as they grow on this years new growth-you'll have del rasps in sept . 3 yrs ago (last mildish winter) I was picking thru to december. Morrisons have tulameen at £1.50 per cane.
Enjoy.
