I am thinking about bulbs now and planted some today.

I am thinking about removing daffodil bulbs from one area and replanting although they are already peeking out, otherwise they will be buried too deep ever to flower again.

If I do so, will they flower in the new position, properly dug in?

Spring onion sets I have bought I get through great quantities of them in the kitchen. May I plant them now and get some good increase in the spring?
We might get some mild weather.

I have moved daffodils in the past when they are just showing through the soil or even nearly flowering without any problems and the following year they were fine. It is important that you have a good soil ball around the roots and that they are planted at about the same depth.

So onion sets will begin to grow, if planted now?
