I have some big 8 year old cyclamen coum corms that are flowering very well. Is there any way that I can cut them up to make more plants? If not how can I grow more? Thank you.

You can, but I would not advise it as it is usually only used in extreme cases where the side of a corm has rotted or is damaged. If you are going to divide it then it must have part of the growing 'eye' on each piece. This is done whilst it is dormant and with a very sharp sterile knife. Dust each piece with fungicide and replant.
Best way to increase your plants is by seed and if they are 8 years old I cannot see how you have not got seedlings everywhere?
Once they have flowered you will see that some of the flower stalks will coil themselves back on to the top of the corm. These are the seed pods. By July/August they should have formed into nice ripe seed pods. Collect, wash and sow where you want more.

Thank you for your excellent advice Rowan. I am stupid - hadn't realised that all the flowers in the bowls are not just from the 2 big corms I started with but must also be the result of seedlings growing over the years. This year I will make an effort to collect some seed and grow it on into new bowls.

I would tap them out in summer and have a look what you have got. Be very careful not to damage the tiny roots on the bottom of the corms.
Looks to me like you have not got any ants or they would be everywheresmiley - biggrin

Best place for seed is either under deciduous hedging or in gravel.
