when is best to seed beetoot? can u start putting beetroot in now or is it to early?!
regards
Way too early. Best to plant when all chance of frost has passed. I plant here in central Italy in about April and we don't get a lot of frost.
A couple of tips about beetroot: you can soak the seeds for a good couple of hours before planting to aid germination; and you don't literally have to plant as many as you'll need. Each seed will produce at least two or three seedlings in a cluster. As long as you don't wait till they're too well established, and if you're careful, you can transplant the extra seedlings.
