Has anyone grown Flower Sprout? I have been given a few seeds to try, I think they are Marshalls seeds. They are like mini cabbages on a stalk like a sprout I am told. Just starting them off today.

I bought some seeds last week and can't wait to get them in.
I was in Marksies in Sunderland last week and bought some 'Petit Posies', as they are also known as, from the reduced shelf, part steamed and fried them in olive oil and garlic and the whole family scoffed the lot. Delicious!
They look good too.
I grew them last year and due to the hard Winter they are now ready to harvest. They taste like Brussels. They are worth growing.
I grew some flower sprout on the allotment and gave some plants to my daughter. The allotment ones have struggled over the hard winter, but the ones in my daughter's garden were more sheltered and have done very well. They're definitely worth a go.
