I've just planted some shallots in modules in the cold greenhouse as suggested by Monty Don in Gardeners World last night. Can someone give me some advice about watering these? Reluctant to water from overhead in case the bulbs go rotten.
thanks

i water overhead once on planting and then leave them to Gather moisture from the atmosphere.
I have planted shallots in modules for years and I have always watered overhead without any problems. If the bulbs rot then there was probably something wrong with them.
Agreed, always just with a watering can overhead here too :o)
Thanks to everyone. Will water overhead along with my other seedtrays
