I'm thinking of growing potatoes and was wondering if there is something you could grow with it to utilize the space. Is the earthing up going to put a damper on this plan?
Potatoes , when mature realy put out a lot of leaf and cover the soil so In my opinion UNDER planting is out. However, how about OVERplanting with sweetcorn? The sweetcorn will be way up high and not cut too much light from the spuds. Cheers, Tony.
It is quite usual to catch crop between the rows of potatoes.
I was using underplanting as the most suitable word for co-planning. Not a fan of sweetcorn any other ideas?
