last year I was late getting my leeks in and they hardly grew, despite lots of TLC. They`re still in the soil and my question is , if I leave them where they are, will they grow this year??
More than likely they will produce a flower spike (running to seed) while losing what little strength they still have. Cheers, Tony.
Thanks! I`ll pull them up then!
You can probably still eat them. My OH has just come from the neighbours with an armful of juicy giants,....wrapped in ham in a cheese sauce, WOW, roll on lunch time
Bon appetit
