Given the health concerns regarding recycled cardboard are people still happy to use cardboard tubes to grow vegatables?

I don't have any problems. I think there's probably a difference between food packaging, particularly when the food is in direct contact with the cardboard, and, say, toilet roll tubes stuffed with potting mix into which a seed is inserted.
