My seeds have been in the propagator a few days and my lettuce seeds have shot up. There currently about 2.5-3cm tall with white stems and small seed leaves, is this too leggy? They're currently bending towards the light a bit as well, but have tried to counteract that by putting foil at one side.
They're desperately trying to reach the light. Reflected light might not be enough. Any way of getting them into the sun?
I could if I just set the propagator outside during the day and plug it in at night? Is they too long as they stand are is that normal?

If they're up I'd switch the propogaror off. Put them outdoors through the day and indoors with the cover off at night. Once they've germinated they need it cooler.
My brassica and lettuce seedlings are outside all the time with no coverings at the moment. If frost is coming I'll put them in the GH but definitely no more heat! They're pretty tough!
Absolutely spot on, Vixx.
Will leave them out during the day. Thanks Italophile & Vixxi
