I have just sprouted some of these for a salad. What will they do if I plant them out. And will the end result be any good. Thanks
I've sprouted mung beans for the old Chinese, but never thought of planting them.
While I was in Hong Kong care of H.M. t Q. I saw a group of very very old chinese ladies (all in black) sitting round a sack the size of a duvet cover full of sprouted mung beans carefully removing the seed cover off each bean shoot ! Pay the airfare and I'll take youthere tomorrow, even though Kai Tak is no more ! Cheers, Tony.
