I sowed some corriander seeds in a tray and now that they have all germinated I am wondering whether I need to thin them out to individual pots or clump some together and place in a pot so that they all bush out etc as not very sure what to do now with them.
Coriander doesn't really like being transplanted, I would recommend moving clumps (say 10-15 seedlings) into 6" pots. It does tend to run to seed quite quickly, so in future it might be worth sowing on a successional basis, say every couple of weeks or so.
So figrat, When the seedlings come up in a mini prop, they do not like their roots to be transplanted, so transplant a bunch of them to be sure that they are not disturbed.
Is that it?
Or sow a potful in mini prop (10-15 per 4-6" pot) and let them grow on from there with no pricking out.
So it is a pot of lots of, or quite a few coriander shoots.
well I've done tray now so i shall endeavour to transplant quite a few at the same time. Ta.
