Can anyone please tell me which variety of radish is the most flavoursome and has a good 'bite' please. I've got French Breakfast this year but they are quite mild for my taste. Many thanks, Maggie
I tried a variety called 'Rainbow' last year which as the name suggests, the radishes mature in lots of different colours and to my surprise.........different flavours.
My guess is the are a mixture of varieties rather than the sales pitch on....colours
This coupled with 'Mooli kept me well supplied right up till christmas!

There is a radish that is small and that red it looks purple, I think the name is cherry red...they are hot and I like mine hot.
I will look the name up for you when I go up the allotment over the weekend.
