I bought three Blackcurrant bushes from Poundland last year, they have grown into big bushes and have fruit all the way up the stems, but in the last few days the leaves have developed a sticky shiny look about them and have little white flecks on them. What pest is this, and what can I do? It has been very dry here in Bedfordshire for weeks.
White fly like all aphids secretes as sticky honeydew, back to poundland and buy a garden insecticide, meanwhile give the bushes some water.
