Hi all i started my butternuts off hardened them out they were rearly healthy . Ive since planted them out and watered as and when possible , But instead off romping away like last yr they have just sat sulking and not growing ! the only difference is new siting and some horse muck (that is ok no weedkiller stuff in it )Can anybody offer me some advice , many thanks to all help .
If it makes you feel better my courgettes are also not growing at all. I think the cold nights has just stopped them growing

Mine are exactly the same as yours and I agree with digginduggo I think its the cold as well
Yup. Both need warmth. They're both about the most warmth-craving things in the garden.
Mine are the same. I'm hoping the rain and some decent temperatures will start them off before the slugs finish them off!!
My pumpkin, b/n squash and gourds are all sulking too but went up to my allotment tonight and I have a yellow flower on one of my gourds.
I hope Wimbledon finishes soon so the good weather can return!
