    Hi all

    Was wondering if anyone could help me with growing bell peppers , ive succesfully grown them from seed in my green house and then slowly introduced them outdoors before planting in the garden , but since then the leaves seem to be splitting (even the new leaves )and some have holes in them could this be a disease of some sort ?? , i have been using a tomato plant feed which i was told would be suitable to use but im not so sure now ?

    1) Leaf splitting!

    Has it been windy in your area of late ?

    If it has been then the splitting has possibly been caused by this.

    2) holes in leaves!

    This could be slugs,snails or flea beetle!

    3) feeding?

    I would say you are far to early with this task!

    Treat your peppers like tomatoes - commence feeding when the fruit sets!

    The other thing is; Pepers are a little tender and won' t be taking kindly to the cold nights we have had recently.

    This link might help;
