I have found some bugs on my blossom tree that are quite small but have a couple of orange "stripes" on them, dont mind leaving them if they are harmless and wont harm my veggies I am growing. Has anyone got any ideas, I have looked on several sites about bugs but cant see it. Thanks for help.
Could be ladybird larvae- google images too see if that is what you have got- if so leave them -they are gardeners friend!!
hope this helps

Thanks, there were some strange ladybirds "getting to know each other" on there, the one on top was black and the one underneath was normal red, would mixed colours/types really mix? and I have never seen or heard of black ladybirds before, are they invaders would you know. Will certainly leave on there now I know what they are.
Hi, me again, have just looked on the sites suggested and they are larvae, 55 and this is the first time I have ever seen them, never too old too learn
and the black ones are apparently native, will look next time to see amount of spots, who ever said a ladybird is a ladybird, is as ignorant as me....never knew there were so man different species.
Thanks Rain
