Are slug pellets really any good?
I would be interested in hearing other people’s experiences of using slug pellets, I bought a tub from B & Q yesterday, but I cant even hit them with a pellet never mind kill the little bug ers.
Sorry but it is Friday!
I've just tried one - they taste awful!-aren't they supposed to be good for you??
Geoff
Pellets have saved many a plant of mine that would otherwise have been destroyed. I do have to use more than I should, though. I was finding they were disappearing overnight. A total mystery. Until I found armies of ants carrying them away. I have no idea what effect they have on ants. Given their ongoing abundance in my garden, perhaps no effect.

Or some other sort of ANTidote?
I have Fridays like that, too, Don.
