showmaster onions

    hi im quiet new at gardnering well on scale of the amount of stuff i have planted as got a allotment last years so first real year.
    i planted some show master onions and they are quiet big but i have noticed on a couple of them thats it seems like they are rotten in certain places but roots are not affected and the grow of them has not eva its only been appox 10 out of a 100.
    i also give my grandad a couple to grow in his garden and they have gone the same.
    can anyone help please

    We'll need a bit more information to try and give you some advice. I presume they are rotting on the leaves/stems as the roots are not affected ? Cheers, Tony.

    stems/leaves are fine its the bulb it self which seem to be rotten but its only patches and on the suface..thanks
