Hello, i have a Plum Jubilee which is not looking too healthy at the moment.
The leaves which are bright green have developed tiny red spots/holes. The fruit has also dropped off and there is only one fruit left which is also spotty.
Can anyone advise what may be the cause of the problem as i am unable to find any info on the website or in any of my books ?????
many thanks
shazza
The red spotty appearance of the plums may be the early stages of brown rot. I get brown rot regularly, this year I've sprayed the tree so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I sprayed the tree with Westland plant rescue Fungus Control. Hope this helps and you enjoy the jam ! Cheers, Tony.
hello, thanks for the reply.
does your tree have any other symptoms besides spots on the leaves ??
