Hello All.
Although I blanch and freeze a variaty of vegatables I have never tried to freeze cabbage.
Is it possible to do this and the best way of doing so.
Kind Regards.
Neil.
I've frozen it fairly successfully. Strip off the outer leaves. Then either cut it into strips or wedges. I found that wedges came out of the freezer in better shape. Then it's as per usual - blanch, very cold water, dry well and package for freezing. The flavour was good, the texture pretty good.
Thank you Italophile.
Will give it a go.
Cheers.
Neil
