I planted a packet of leek seeds I received free in a magazine, just because they were there. I knew I couldn't grow them to maturity due to space and the way they are cultivated but planted them anyway. Well I have loads of leeks like baby spring onions and was wondering if these are suitable to be used in salads or are they not really edible/palatable at this early stage?
Perfectly edible and all the 'trendy cooks' are using them. Cheers, Tony.
