hi.
i have a 10 ft by bout 6 foot rubarb patch it was put in before i got the allotment but the problem is it bang in the middle of my allotment using up vitual space as dont use it much and just want to move it to the bottom of my garden and wondering when is it the best time to do it and how to.
kind regards shaun
Best time is the autumn. depending on size you could split, dig around and cut into segments if you want to. I dig a hole and plant it with the crown just above the surface. would then put manure around it.
