My cherry tomatoes are really disappointing this year. Lots of sun, regular watering and feeding and the tomatoes are green, soft and wrinkly. Lots have dropped off the plant before going red. Foliage is a bit yellow and unhealthy looking too. Any thoughts?
Could well be too much water and/or fertiliser. Toms actually can and will resent too much of a good thing. Try backing off the water and fertiliser and see what happens. On the whole, less is better with toms. They respond best when made to struggle a bit.
Thanks, I will try some 'tough love'!
